Class Evaluation
1.What I like of this class is that we can learn about web sites and most of the time we can share our ideas with the whole class. Another thing that I like of this class is when we have the time to write our goals because that make us achieve what we want. Also I like that sometimes we have some free-time. Finally one of the most important things is that I loved when Mr. Haymore put videos to learn about what he tell us to write in the posts.

2.What I don't like of this class is that when we finish our work is mandatory that we need to work in things like create a new web site o in our flash cards machines. I don't like to work in those things I would prefer to do any homework.

3. I don't have any recommendation to improve this class.

4. That we learn how to create our own web sites, I think like for me is going to be helpful in the future.

5. I think I did well on this class, but I know that I did not give my best because  few times I was absent, or because I was concentrate in other assignments.

6. Not all the time I wrote in my Life Planning Journal when I was in my hose I forgot most of the time write on it or I leave my Journal on my locker

7. Well I had have Mr. Haymore two times and I think that I had learned how to be a CTR person because I had listen what he said, the advises that he give us. I like the way that he encourage us to keep going and achieve our goals.

Admissions Requirements

MCAT test date

You must have taken the MCAT within the 3 calendar years prior to your planned matriculation date.  Applicants for the entering class of 2017 (submitting AMCAS applications in 2016) must have taken an MCAT exam in the years 2014 - 2016.  MCAT scores for exams taken in early 2017 will not be considered.  

Policy on application "updates"

The UCSD SOM Admissions Committee does not consider updates to grades or activities or any other documents outside of the AMCAS application and secondary application process. 

Selection Criteria

The Admissions Committee selects applicants for matriculation who have demonstrated the personal qualities of intelligence, maturity, integrity, dedication to the ideal of service to society and who are best suited for meeting the educational goals of the school, whether in a field of primary care specialization or other discipline of medicine. The school desires students with diverse interests and backgrounds and is committed to expanding opportunities in medical education for individuals from socioeconomic and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds.

Tuition

Out-of-state tuition for UC San Diego School of Medicine is currently $44,993. This school is cheaper for applicants who are residents of California, for whom tuition costs $32,748, and thus pay $12,245 less than non-residents.

CHARACTER AND PERSONALITY

Stephen R. Covey teaches that every individual has the potential for greatness.We used to say, “Focus on your business and you’ll see results”, but we were absorbed with watching t.v. quite a bit. Now, we are no longer doing that. We never have the t.v. on unless we are watching a movie that we’ve decided to watch for our family night, which is about once a week. We have family game night as well once a week. This is because family is definitely important and part of what having a strong character is about. If you aren’t making time for family, then how can life have true meaning? The whole reason you’re building a business is so you can have more quality family time, so you have to show them they are the most important.

At the same time as showing how important family is, you also have to prove by your actions that you’re doing what you are teaching such as not watching t.v. so that you can really focus on the tasks at hand. We apologize for not doing that in the past. Over the past few years, we’ve learned to prioritize and put working on our business up there on the list, so that we can improve our skills and really grow our business, thus helping more people.
